Project 2

Digital Audio Control System(DACS)

Introduction:

eTAZ Systems was contacted to provided consultancy will designing a complex system that involved multiple R&D disciplines lie Power Electronics, Analog Design, Digital Design, and DSP. The project was undertaken between 2018 and 2019 and the design of this system is intended to meet the requirements of harsh and critical interference environments. The system’s purpose is to collect all the audio signals from various sources, multiplex them and set gains and impedance for different output channels for further transmission and usage. The project involved multiple boards such as Power Supply Board, DSP Processor Board, Mother Board and Interface Board. Our engineers used system architecture design, schematics design, layout design and firmware development to deliver a solution that meets the client’s requirements. The system also includes a full-duplex communication feature and multiple communication interfaces such as 12C, RS232, RS485 and SAI, SPI.

Audio quality is an important consideration for anyone who wants to get the best experience out of their music and movies. A DAC (digital-to-analog converter) is a device that enhances the quality of audio for headphones and speakers by converting it into an analog signal. The superior quality of the analog signal significantly improves audio playback, particularly for music and movies. As a result, a DAC is used to improve the sound system of various devices, such as PCs, TVs, and HiFi systems.
